The Massena Art and History Museum, a fabulous villa built in 1900, was the home of Victor Massena. The Museum contains a fine collection of furniture, uniforms, weapons and decorative artworks. The collection of 16th to 19th century jewellery and plates decorated with enamel is a fine one. 14th and 15th century painters’ works and works of the history of Nice are displayed. On the ground floor the drawing room has been furnished in the opulent style of that era when Massena lived here.
